Mr_Bo11ox Posted June 30, 2011 Posted June 30, 2011 A GTI estate must be a rare thing indeed. What on earth!!! It doesnt even have a fuggin letterbox.
KruJoe Posted June 30, 2011 Posted June 30, 2011 WTF?! This is a new one on me.http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PEUGEOT-BOXER-RAR ... 3a679cfb78Never knew such a thing existed.
catsinthewelder Posted June 30, 2011 Posted June 30, 2011 I innocently left the purple ADO16 from a few pages back in my watch list. SWMBO has spotted it and would like it as a runabout
Rhythm Thief Posted June 30, 2011 Posted June 30, 2011 This looks a plucky little city blezzer. Looks like a stunner and with 12 mths ticket £400BIN seems great value. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/CITROEN-AX-11TRE- ... 19c6c5a640 Just got me thinking now, when was the last time I saw an AX? These little hatches used to be everywhere and now theres bugger all about. Ahem ... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... :MESELX:IT This one is Ms RT's. Buggered head gasket, radiator problems but otherwise not bad. And, I flatter myself, a vaguely amusing listing.
flat4alfa Posted July 1, 2011 Posted July 1, 2011 If that Rolls is ex-Japan, why's it LHD?According to an episode of Jeremy Clarkson's Motorworld alot of foreign cars there are ordered as left hookers as it makes them look more exotic. It's true, didn't believe it until I saw it. Around Tokyo, I spotted a number of (for e.g) black S-Class Mercs in LHD and was told it was 'because they are Yakuza'. Saw them chauffeur-driven too
ashmicro Posted July 1, 2011 Posted July 1, 2011 So the moral of that story is don't cut up any left-hooker Mercs when in Japan!
theorganist Posted July 1, 2011 Posted July 1, 2011 I innocently left the purple ADO16 from a few pages back in my watch list. SWMBO has spotted it and would like it as a runabout What more reason to bid do you need!! Fortunately or maybe unfortunately currently being single I only have to justify purhcases to myself which isn't as easy as it sounds!!
andrew e Posted July 1, 2011 Posted July 1, 2011 WTF?! This is a new one on me.http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PEUGEOT-BOXER-RAR ... 3a679cfb78Never knew such a thing existed. Dangel is PSA's very own 4x4 department, they do the 4x4 versions of most of the commercials, give them a google. True 'shitters might know the Dangel 504's & 505's kings of the Paris Dakar. http://www.garage24.net/0504-5.htm
andrew e Posted July 1, 2011 Posted July 1, 2011 Never seen one of these before! 4,500 euros http://www.leboncoin.fr/voitures/212362895.htm?ca=17_s Fact du jour: The hairy arsed oik I'm sitting opposite now, used to install these, working at Park Royal for W&P. Even though they used to make there own venneer's the traditional clamped way he reckons the cheaper (!!!) end would normally be bought in from John Yardley of Rokee (famed for mini dashboards, he has a Rokee coaster in his locker!) and the outrageous price would include matching door cappings too. The dash top (I quote) is made of "poxy glassfibre hood that would be in your fingers for days" then glued and leather trimmed. The existing cluster would be screwed to the back of the venneer. The veneer's would be quite a few mm undersize to allow for the pretty thick leather to be wrapped round the glassfibre.
blackbird Posted July 1, 2011 Posted July 1, 2011 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rover-75-2-5- ... 3cb988e613 I bought this car for myself, and towed back home with A frame, because it didn't have any MOT or TAX. I didn't knewit it can't be towed, bacause is automatic and for this reason the gearbox was damaged. The car going backwards, but doesn't go forward oops !

In view of how it looks I can only imagine it will catch the eye of banger racers or some of those characters who live with their mums at 40 and put stickers of skulls on everything they own, neither of which are likely to shell out 18 big ones.
