That Reynard Allegro is ace, one of BL's best colours. Percival Motor Co or some such high end spot have a saloon in the same colour up for £4750.....

I'm afraid to say I have an ABSOLUTE RAGING HORN for this Solara, and have regular dreams about an epic roadship back from Glasgow in it! I just wish I was a bit older and could afford the insurance on it, it really is such a "winner wagon".

Can you not get some classic insurance for it?

American car makers were well ahead of Europeans as far as emissions shit goes.

Historical fact. That's why intelligent Americans are largely bored with finger-wagging tut-tut-ing "enlightened" greenie-weenies from the EU and their assortment of self-important rabbit warren legislation they want to foist worldwide (except on China and India, they get a pass...). Yeah right. "Where was Gondor when...." etc etc etc

lol @ LOTR reference but seriously ?? Taking a rather nice v8, chucking on a laod of gumph so it only makes 18hp/litre and 18mpg downhill isn't going to impress the "greenie-weenies"......(yeah I'm using outdated 1970s stereotypes but hey)

It would probably still be about a grand

Really?! How old are you AD?

All while running up to your door with "Sorry we can't be arsed to do our job" cards.

I spotted this the other day as I'd love to get another one of these, this one is unusual as its badged as a Datsun and came in to the country with a USAF serviceman. Right in my money range too.

Needs work but that wouldn't have been an issue.

Ooohhh!!! I wonder who is the lucky person who's had this on their drive for the last 15 years or whatever.

Proper shite, no matter what the value - it's original looking and complete. That's what you seek if you're after a decent car - nobbed-up ones often need as much work if not more than those which haven't. Shame there aren't any interior pics.
