American forces in Germany? But why would you bother when you could by them new in the USA unless they were substantially cheaper to members of the armed forces in Germany, cheap enough to overcome the p&p etc.

Yes I was thinking it was an odd thing to buy a car in Germany & get it shipped to the USA.
