can you only upload 200 pics and that's it  well that'll be 10,000+ not going on there then lol...

I'm pro, but have never paid???They should call it Posr, for the amount of shitty posing photos on there.

I hate Flikqr, but my hatred could be down to my own stupidity, because I can never fathom out how to link to pictures on there.

Mine was free as my broadband is with BT Internet which has something to do with yahoo.

To get a url for a Flickr pic you use the same Firefox add-on that lets you grab eBay picture urls. If you want to post one of the larger versions (the ones you get by clicking "all sizes" you can just right click and copy image location in the normal way.

I've tried it out on IE and Opera. In IE you right click and select "properties" and you see the url you need. All flickr picture urls start with "farm(number)static"Opera is easier, it lets you copy image address just as you would with a normal web picture.

When you have a free Flickr account, you can upload 2 videos and 100MB worth of photos each calendar month. While the 100MB bandwidth limit for photos is firm, we do allow a little leeway for video in case you encounter transcoding errors, sound sync weirdness, etc. You will be able to delete and upload a new video. Please note, that if we determine you’re abusing your free video upload privileges, we may block your ability to share video.Your upload limits are reset to zero at midnight in Pacific Time Zone (Flickr headquarters time) on the first of each calendar month. You can't recover any of your monthly allowance by deleting photos. If you have a free account, you'll see your limit on the upload page.

arrr so if i wait till the first i can upload another 200 cool 8)

i've done mine all in B&W @ 595 width to keep space down only to be hit with the 200 pic limit says i've used 16% of my monthly upload limit

No. 200 photos is the absolute limit regardless of bandwidth used.

Here's a quick tip for accessing/linking pictures in Flickr. Get Firefox and then the adblock to block the picture that overlays the main picture 'spaceball.gif'. It blocks it, so you can then select the piccy underneath. If you want to do the same with ebay pics, right click on the screen and then go to 'View Page Info'. The picture should be in there you can save or copy the link address. ;)

I've swapped to Picasa now, $5 (£3.80 or so) gets you 20GB of storage and the website is a lot less faffy than Flickr.Plus it's run by Google so it sync to my phone, no more forgetting to upload spots :)

I use the basic Fotopic; I have 150 photos on and have used about half of my quota up, but they say you can get up to 1000 on. They also often have half-price deals on extra storage or upgraded subscriptions.

Flickr says that only the last 200 pics are displayed on your flickr page, you can still upload as many as you want, and I think still link to them.

On a free account, Flickr limits the number of photos displayed. If you have fewer than 200 photos, we display them all. If you have more than 200 photos, only the most recent 200 are displayed.Your photos are not removed from Flickr, only from the list of your photos. If you blogged a photo and it no longer appears in your list, it will still appear on your blog, and the photo's Flickr page will still work just fine.
