The mods are still alive it seems and plan on appointing a couple of new mods to help out with this stuff, unfortunately though they are both struggling for time and the necessary SKILLZ so probably nowt is gonna happen in the short term. Then one day expect a flood of new members when they get it sorted and approve everybody.

Assuming they have an idea who's going to be handed the poisoned chalice, it takes 2 minutes and half a dozen keystrokes to 'upgrade' someone's membership status from regular member to mod or admin on a phpbb forum.

Me too please! I'm an interloper from Pistonheads, but my usual transport is a shitey landrover.

 

Another one here that can't get in ( on? ). I think I may have registered twice in recent months,sorry if that caused any confusion . I thought at first it was because you could tell I don't own any old shite at the moment,don't have rigger boots or be capable of doing anything vaguely useful on my own car. In fact you could call me a shite voyeur or a fair weather autoshite groupie. On the plus side my modern cars have massive shite potential in a few years
