as I found it - guess the other cars in the pic

It was once white - but now it's black

Posted Image

sporting its 'deer' injury, complete with rusty Hiace Devon behind it, plus the big motorhome.

some of the fleet - will add more soon - apologies for pic size

The Hondas

This one is bodily restored, needing brakes done, engine turns but not tried to start it as fuel is dead, interior great.

This one last MoT'd 2006, last used 2009 - needs master cylinder and a few hundred pounds and two weekends to go back on road, IMHO

Third Z is almost stripped now and ready for scrapping once the engine comes out of it.

I like what I see! Did you purposefully get three orange Zs?Good collection though.

Orange was the new black - only available in one colour! I bought the Zs together so there was no choice! All three fitted in that garage with about half a ton of spares. Will upload some more, including the Mochet, when I get a chance - will add some of the old cars too!The Zs are for sale - I have a cunning plan that involves a Land Rover!

Really? I learn something new everyday.Id love to have one of them, but Im pretty sure I dont have the skill....yet.

In Britain, the Z came in orange! That was it - it is very 70s though!

The Hiace and Punto (now sold)

Love 'em. Have seen one in a hideous lime green - probably home brew I guess, but suited it very nicely. Maybe he already had an orange one and fancied a change...

Ooh I was looking foward to seeing these! Great collection there, i'm just a bit jealous!

I'm gonna say thats a Nobel in the foreground? Jag is an S-type, not sure about the black one...

Brammy, not sure of the ins group but they are a super little car. 600cc aircooled twin cylinder with a crash gearbox. The nip along quite nicely too and will return 50+ to the gallon. Funky dashboard with gearlever coming out and there is actually room in the rear for small passengers. I really wanted a S800 fastback but never found a nice one in my price range as a poorly paid apprentice (£15/week)You probably guess by now that I have owned one! Second car when I was 17, first was a 1970 Hillman Avenger 1500 Super.

I'm guessing the one at the back is a Mayflower

I'm 5 11 and I can fit in the back - just!55mpg, 80mph, 7000rpm, plus the fancy dash in the roof too. £1000 each buys them - both are pre 1973 and historic taxed!

Nobel is correct, not a Mayflower but the right period - a little larger! Jag was a 3.8 S with wires and auto box.

My first thought was the Renown....

My first thought was the Renown....

bigger than a renown and a bit of a bomber!

Goggomobil TS250

bought for £600 for two - now in Italy

Posted Image

Nobel 200 - bought for £200, The Isetta in front was bought off a number dealer for £525 taxed and tested. Won't say what he offered me for the number on the Berkeley B95! ;)

Posted Image

my first ever car - USG 103 - where are you now???

Posted Image

Scootacar and Goggomobil - the Goggomobil is the best microcar ever made!

One of numerous Berkeley T60s

What a superb collection, really like those Hondas :) Is the black one an Armstrong Siddely Whitley, the rear quarter is a light short of a Renown ?

it is indeed a six light Whitley! Bought foolishly at a car auction in 1990 for £200.

and there was me gonna list every bomber that ever served with the RAF in an attempt to guess correctly....

Great stuff, those Zs are fab. If I could drive one of them home... (in summer preferably)

Why did I ever sell this one ...

Posted Image

It was sold to a German and now resides in Switzerland - and, yes, I should have taken the number off it!
