Shite is still in short supply round here, so not posted any pics in ages, but here are a few from the last few months- mostly taken whilst elsewhere!

We were surprised to find this beauty in Rother Valley car park. Nice to see one actually being used for every day transport!

Last month we had a long weekend in Bristol, which seems to have a lot more stuff around than South Yorks. It was the weekend of the heavy storms, so camera wasn't in use for much of Saturday, so missed all sorts- most annoyingly, a scruffy looking ZB Magnette just parked at the roadside. Got these though:-

Didn't look to be honest, as it was absolutely PISSING down!!

Anyway, here's anohter selection- finally got round to putting 'phone pics onto the computer!

First up, nice looking 1100/1300 seen in one of the Supertram park and ride places.

Next up, Veedub bus on very low suspension

Auntie Rover parked outside a garage workshop. Looked original and unmolested, nicely faded and cracked leather interior.

Stunning Beemer outside Halfords.

Unusual, but rather tasty Saab, photographed by 52 Babe in Sainsbury's car park!

Finally, nice Mk 1 Fiesta seen on Boxing Day, in Sainsbury's car park. Could it be some lucky sod's Christmas pressie?

More snow here overnight, so nipped out with the camera, and happened across the following:

I've passed this spot countless times in the last few years, yet never seen this before!! Hidden by foliage most of the time, I guess!

Just nipped out to the local shop, and spotted this in the car park. I've seen it around a few times, but never whilst I had the camera. Grabbed the mobile 'phone just in time to grab a pic before it was driven off. It's an E reg and appears to be an absolute minter.

I've passed this spot countless times in the last few years, yet never seen this before!! Hidden by foliage most of the time, I guess!

Just came across this whilst hunting it's plate down on the DVLA (and failing) - Morris 214EYT doesn't come up, nor does Austin, Riley, MG, Wolseley or Vanden Plas, have I missed one out?

Since then, I have been chatting with a local who informed me that the vehicle used to belong to young gentleman who lived in a caravan near to where the car was parked. There was always a dispute between Chesterfield Borough Council and Sheffield, to which council the field belonged, and whether he should be made to pay council tax or not. The gentleman was having an affair with someone he played with Tennis with, and one day in 1986 he left. A few weeks later the caravan was taken, but the car wasn't. It stayed exactly where he'd parked it.

Had to take the Renner to a local Renault specialist (digital dash went all dark!! EEK! Fortunately, seems to have been a fairly easy fix, for someone who knows what they're doing!) Getting there took me on some roads I don't usually use, so took camera in case any worthwhile spots showed themselves. Glad I did.

First, an Audi coupe lurking in a front garden. Any way of telling if it's a quatro? Not very good with these.

Next up, nice little Renault 9 Boston. First spotted this about 5 years ago- good to see it still in use, and at the same address.

Then this gem, hidden away outside a unit on an industrial estate. Photographed at long range, so excuse the quality.

Oh, and should add that the garage had an absolutely mint Renault 12 inside. Tried talking to the owner, but he was not in the least interested and seemed a thoroughly humourless, dour individual, so didn't even bother asking if he'd mind me taking a few pics.

I had an Escort Eclipse about 10 years ago the colour as the one above, I did love that car.I also keep seeing a Safrane in a car park up the road to me, Think it's a R reg, Maybe i should a photo of it.

Very little un-spotted shite in evidence around here, but I dropped the 25 off at a local(ish) garage this morning for some front suspension bushes changing, and there was a lovely old Merc in the yard, so thought I may as well take a quick snap with my ancient Nokia!

And, whilst I'm at it, I may as well post a few pics of a Toyota pick up spotted a few weeks ago which really should have high comedic value, yet I find it strangely appealing!
