Don't tell me I cor say that. When I first arrived in the West Midlands aged 18, I actually thought references to the Black country were some sort of racist slur. After a few years i could tell the difference between Tipton and Oldbury accents. In the same way I can tell the difference between a Dingle accent and a Croxteth accent now. chaseracer 1

We headed to here, and after crossing the footbridge passing the sleeping pigeons I persuaded Mr Racer to allow me to photograph this, Before we got in a taxi to meet up with his old Dyane Which was fitted with a new one of these. In the yard, I was quite taken by this. Mr Racer was happy to be back behind the wheel and after a fill of fresh fuel and spilling a drop Mr Racer, the happy wee soul that he is HOONED. The end. Ahh small world newtown cross garage used to be a regular haunt for me with the old P38 as it used to have an LPG pump.. Love the littke dyane chaseracer 1
chaseracer Posted April 29, 2022 Author Posted April 29, 2022 * * * DYANE LATEST * * * * Many miles have been enjoyed, including two visits to the FoD. * The engine is loosening up nicely, ready for the fortnight in France next month. * Peter S. Taylor Insurance have agreed my cheekily optimistic valuation on the basis of six photos and PDFs of Sparrow's invoices! WOOP. * These expensive but worthwhile items have been united by good mate Spanners at https://www.jacautos.co.uk and will be fitted this weekend. 145x15s on the front will raise the gearing usefully, as well as gripping like the proverbial to a blanket. * Next: 100% uprated springing to limit the body roll (a bit)... chaseracer Posted April 30, 2022 Author Posted April 30, 2022 The new rubber is on. <FNARR> I checked the date codes on the tyres that came off. The 125s on the rear were from 2002 and were just beginning to show some sidewall cracking. The 135s are from 2006, but still grip well and are in good shape having lived in the dark for most of the last decade, so they're now on the back.

chaseracer Posted May 2, 2022 Author Posted May 2, 2022 Car seems very happy with the wider/taller rubber. Managed to get the ignition to talk to the app, so used my phone as an 'electronic dashboard'. Not really big enough, so will try a tablet and Bluetooth.
