Chinese impact wrenches

Seen a few of these obvious rip off impact wrenches for the £60 mark on eBay. How shit are they likely to be. Wouldn’t be using it for hub nuts or crank bolts - I’ve the big fuck off one for that. Just handy to have a cordless one. Thoughts?

I think a better bet would be a genuine body only took with knock-off batteries. Unless you're really unlucky, they generally do ok. Not great, but ok.

I've just taken delivery of my 28 quid wonder from Singapore this morning, only took 8 days to get here. Gonna ease it in gently tomorrow on some exhaust bolts. Replica of the DTW285 so pretty petite.

Knock-off everything here - wrench, battery and charger. Suspect I'll be lucky if everything is still working by New Year's Eve.....

OMG I'VE BEEN PAPPED (vape pen and charging cable for phone not included in the box)

We use a Neilsen, cost about £65, does Ford wheels nuts for fun with us.

They have Li-ion batteries on now though. Cheapest seems to be around £90.

The gun body looks the same as ours.

Actually looks like floaty's, but  blue  or green ish.

Previously had a Clarke, about £135?  Nielsen was just as good.

I recently purchased one from EBay and it plugs into the 12v socket, let's just say it's not worth it. You still have to use a breaker bar to loosen the nut in which time you could still use the bar to remove said wheel nuts.

AvE has you covered.

In short it's not too bad and will probably be alright for light duty use.

I was thinking about these recently, but for light use you can get a 3/8" drive Makita from Amazon for £40 (ex battery/charger) or a Milwaukee for nearer £100

For a cheap powerful one I think corded is the way to go, as FL did.

I’ve got a corded one, it will undo pretty much anything. But I fancied a cordless for away from the house jobs. Scrapyard etc.
