I also fixed the battery clamp today.

 

House is upside down due to renovations so couldn’t find any nuts and bolts to fit. Improvised an excellent alternative with a rawl plug and blunted off screw (don’t want you cutting your fingers)

 

 

Nice tight fit once a clamp washer thing added.

 

Quality bodging for you lucky shiters to discover.

 

 

I also fixed another plastic broken seat fixing from my box full of spares.

 

 

I’m off work for two weeks so be warned, I may transfer the spinny seat mechanism to the Sharan and just give the winner slider seats.

 

Doubt it’s a deal breaker or even if I’ll get round to it but in the interests of full disclosure, etc.

Jeez. Here we go. Y’know, in fairness, we’ve all been funding each other for quite some time now!
