Historically, I'd have agreed with you. I very rarely, if ever, get cold and generally sweat profusely in temperatures of over 15 degrees.

 

I can only assume that as the weather lasted for quite some time it simply allowed time to acclimatise. That said, having suddenly become a "man of leisure" in June, it wasn't as if I was rushing around anywhere.
