$_35.JPGWhat's the use of putting something in a barn that blatantly leaks like a sieve, and hosts iron oxide parties on a daily basis? This poor old thing has fared no better than one that's been left outside!

And it's still up to £602. Money. Old. Rope.

Not sure what kind of dosh these go for, so may well be better of listing in the "Bargains" thread, but surely nobody can deny, these are a very pretty car.

$_49.JPGSales blurb is pretty honest too....

Project Car Made with rust as standerd

This car is rusty very rusty this is how they were made

No they weren't, that's just what happened. Sausage Wallet.

Double Trouble:

$_35.JPG$_49.JPGI will admit that I am currently in fruitless negotiations with SWMBO regarding the brown one. We are currently at the "Buy This And Live In It" stage, which as far as I'm concerned is fine, as ENY FULE NO Maxi's come with a bed as standard.
£205 so far....

These XR8's look like a Sierra 1.6 base with a shit body kit on it. Still would though mainly for the v8.44

Lad I knew many years ago worked for a local millionaire in the naughties. He used to borrow one these to tool around in. It was lunacy on 4 wheels. Used to rag jag and porches off on the motorway for the fun of it...

Another BARN FINED, except the lazy Cockwand hasn't been arsed to actually move it out of the barn so we can see it in its plasticwood covered magnificence.

$_35.JPG$_35.JPG$_35.JPG$_35.JPGI want this. For no other reason than i would park it outside my mate Blind Trevor's house and reclaim his parking rights.

Currently £1500. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/171258446481?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

£1500 is way out of order for a laid-up barn find.  It's going to cost half that just to recommission and when you've done, it isn't a befinned Cadillac or Bullitt Mustang.  Having said which, fake-wood smog-era station wagon?  I so would!

This looks like a proper bargain! Old Bentley Le Mans, looks ok in the photo too!!

$_35.JPG Surely there's got to be a catch, £18K for a classy bit of tin?

there is no gearbox

Oh ok, stink a Type 9 or summert in there....

Bentley Le Mans Style special

Oh, Le Mans STYLE... is that like "chocolate flavour coating" on Asda Value peanuts?

What am I buying here EXACTLY?

$_49.JPG$_49.JPG$_35.JPGGreat, a pile of cut about iron, and a fucking boat anchor.

the first picture is to show you what you could end up with if you put the effort in

That really makes me want to do violent things.

cmn19005.jpgThis is what the sellers face would look like if I put the "effort" in.....

What sort of engine is that? I imagine it to have 3 main bearings and a crank like a bent paper clip, and develop 95hp from a 6 litre petrol.

Re. the XR8 - how did they differ from 'normal' Sierras, apart from the engine? I mean, if you dropped a 5.0 V8 into a stock XR4 I suspect various pieces of car would part company under full throttle, no?

I think it is a Rolls Royce B 80 or B81. 5.6 to 6.5 litres, nearly half a ton, 9 main bearings, 195 to 220 bhp.

Similar to the thing in the Vanden Plas Farina R but eight cylinders. Same side valve exhaust and overhead inlet valves. As used in any number of weird military things, fire engines, airport wotsits. Also available with 4 or six cylinders.

The first pic shows something with a V 12......
