I straightened out a smashed in rear (snigger) by laying in the boot and pushing out with both feet.  For that Vauxhall I think you should go straight to the "rope around a tree and floor it in reverse" method.

I tried this once years ago to pull the rear end out on a 5 door metro. Chain through the rear panel and secured to a very big tree. Put it in first and off i went. Just make sure you move the seat right back and wear a seat belt. The car stopped and I hit the dash. It almost got it straight but I did have to grind the bolt heads down slightly on one rear door to stop it catching. Still managed to sell it at a profit though

The ad for that cortina says bring a trailer, it looks like it will sweep up nicely into an asda bag...

Transit added to watch list!

"her bodywork and interior are very good however the reason she is spares or repairs is she has a problem with electric windows not working(becm) she will also need screen replacing"

Eh? The screen looks fine to me. Is 'broken electric windows' some sort of code for 'entire electrical system liable to catch fire'?

Just googled it, it's a Fiat 125S Samantha, one of only 100 made, RHD too so much have been pretty unique.

They look lovely, but the one you've found doesn't. I don't think I'd like driving a car wondering if I was sat in a seat someone died in either.

Tragic. I can only hope no-one was behind the wheel at the time. You wouldn't walk away from it would you?

I don't think Copart sells cars involved in deaths (I could be wrong) so I'm hoping it was parked up and someones driven into it.

Fancy a Lotus Cortina Mk1? It needs a bit of work ....

but I think it's priced reasonably at a mere £8,000. But then it has no engine, or floor, or some other bits, like carbs.

Also please note:

"the car, or any part of the car will not be released before full payment as been cleared."

So don't go thinking you can take home some flaky bits, ok?

That said, I do wonder why so many people just watch it. My 944 had 149 of which 2 bid at the last second, and the Merc had about 49 and no bids, so I can see why it gets frustrating.

Still added to my watch list though

Always fancied a quadra so bid has been placed auction is tomorrow and I won't be here to see what happens. Copart fees are a bit high though so hopefully no one will bid it up too much
