Anyone else having trouble copying photos from Autotrader? This MEGA BARG SAAB 96 is worth a look in any case: it's got snakeskin seats and the artfully distressed paintwork is nosing into pineapple country, but... £500, 39k MILES & A FULL MOT!

That SAAB is uber-tempting ! Must resist, must resist...

I very nearly bought one of these last year, but looking at this twit-wheeled custard-fuck makes me very glad I didn't.

That said it's the HOT variant, has a decent MOT and is only £550.

Of course it's do-able, I brought a car back from Lebanon ffs.

I am asking whether someone is considering doing it.

I would love to do it,  surely if 4 or 5 of us flew over and all bought a car I am willing to bet at least 3 of us would make it

There's something desperately poignant about a pampered low-mile minter that rewards its long-term owner by being worth fuck-all. These 850 saloons account for a verified 97% of such cases.

38k, £650, bet he ends up accepting half that and a flick on the nose.

I recon Greek and Serbian motors won't be up to the same standard as U.K cars roadworthyness-wise. I't would be easy to end up with a right heap of crap without any chance of an MOT back in the U.K

Still tempting though!

That's a bit along the lines I was thinking.

Actually I was thinking something like four people sharing a ride there in something just slightly half arsed and using said device as some sort of rag and bone collector on the way back, should the unthinkable happen. I just totally dislike the idea of flying, you know.

I had a Saab the same as that but a 2.0 NA in that colour earlier in the year and it was fucking shit. It wasn't unreliable or anything but it was the most loathsome thing I've every driven. Also the yellow indicates you're lacking taste in all departments, which in my case is actually true.

Yes, I'm reposting this, but it's easily as adorable as the Shitefest 2013 baby cows.

I actually quite like it, but wouldn't it be rather at home in the 'Bargains' thread?

Or am I the only one left in the UK who considers 3000£ a sum of money one has to work long and hard for?

If that was an estate it'd be sitting on my drive ... I do think the old 95/6's look gr9 with distressed paintwork.

Wow that Micra has the Doctor's name written all over it  Can't wait to read the biblical write up on it on ebay soon.
