I'd imagine a sidevalve Minor would be pretty horrific to drive in modern traffic, but I do love the look of the early ones.  Shame that one has been hacked about to have indicators fitted.

shame the car is actually too big to fit all in one picture.....

i like them, i had the mk5 zetec S - it was a right laugh as a 17 year old spotty teenager i had plenty fond memories in that car.

I liked the pov spec one me late mother bought, it was still fun to drive.

I recall looking at them when they were £4k nearly new. I wanted a facelift 1.25 Zetec but couldn't quite afford one. I eventually got a mk2 punto, sold it a year later and bought a Manta GTE. Cool car but the worst financial decision I ever made.

Appears 'rust free'. Massive bonus on this model.

 

EDIT: £504 was the final bid. Luckily, this auction happened 2 weeks too early or I'd be potentially collecting another prestige* vehicle at that monies. The plan would have been to flip it for $$PROFIT$$ rather quickly but... in reality I'd be stuck with it stagnating for 9 months, worrying about it being lifted by DVLA from the debatable 'private parking bay', only to sell it for considerably less than scrap value after swapping the operational ashtray over. Maybe a good thing eh?
