I was just about to post that too, £30, what a bargain!, Rare estate though, that's 28 years of being sat in overgrowth for you.

I cant figure out if this is actually still for sale as the advert looks like it has travelled to the year 2012 from 1997 through a hole in the space time continuum.

If it is for sale its a bit of a bargain. I would roll in that at Dolomite Sprint prices.

Looks like an upmarket Peykan....

See this is where I just can't get my head round re-shells and the keeping of the same identity. That rally car is completely fooked so it needs a new body and one from a boggo one if you buy his Maltese one which as I understand (Ford nuts will put me right) is not the same shell as an AVO one. The twin cam engine looks in a right state too so by my reckoning everything on that car will be brand new, ie not that car at all.

On the other hand many people will just say that a bodyshell could be bought from the manufacturer and has a part number in much the same way as a Heritage MGB shell now and therefore it's just like replacing a ball joint, no harm done.

Many people will also say get a life and don't worry about insignificant crap like this.....

Who cares? It's a mass-produced Ford, not the first car ever made. it doesn't have a soul or feelings.

Fuck the purists - they just don't want to feel like their "investment" is being devalued.

Thjis is seemingly an Impreza 'GRAVEL EXPRESS', surely one of the best special edition names ever. I would like it just for that, unfortunatley I would feel like a MASSIVE TIT driving round in an Impreza with a big exhaust and stickers all over it.

THE CAR INT BEEN ON THE ROAD FOR 2 YEARS SO NO TAX OR MOT IT WILL PISS IT

IT JUST NEED SOME TLC WEEK ON IT TO GET HOW YOU WONT IT TO BE YOU INT GOING TO GET A CAR LIKE THIS THE CAR IS NICE AND LIGHT ONE HAND AND YOU CAN PUSH IT, IT BEEN ON TOP GEAR DONT NO HOW TRUE THAT IS

I'm just guessing here, but probably NOT TRUE AT ALL

Just £16,000 will buy you this stylish* Beetle limo, converted by Indonesia's coachbuilders apparently! Interior looks pretty swish like.

I have spent in excess of £25K on this car so I think its an absolute bargain as it is and if he doesn’t sell I have the perfect excuse to keep him

Win all round!!!

This sounds awesome, genuine french market 309 GTi 16v!!!

This auction is for my Peugeot 309 GTI 16 which I brought as a company car in 1990 from the Peugeot dealer in Calais at a cost of 115,000 francs, which I have the bill of sale and have been the keeper since new. I had to taken the car off the road when the engine broke, and I brought a second hand engine which is in the car.

Yum!!! Only £300, no bids yet with a day and a bit to go

'Seller: jdavidsonltd.'

See, that'd put me off. You can bet your bottom dollar that everytime you took this car to Tescos it'd be looking up the skirts of 15 year old Micras and making racially aggravated 'jokes' about about black cabs. Then on the way home it'd just spend all it's time twatting on about how they should bring variety shows back on the telly because that's the only fucking chance they've ever got of appearing on a mainstream channel again.

Here's another review I found on the net (and NO I did not write it before you ask) 'pictures are great. Close up ones not taken with a mobile 'phone from several hundred yards away down someone else's drive are even better.'

300 quid will buy this, budget the same again for getting it home and have a gr9 adventure in the process

That's fantastic. Assuming the RHS looks the same as the left - probably just the seller couldn't be arsed turning the car round to photograph the other side.

Arse - bought the 5 in part because I couldn't find a 104, and in the last week seen 3 for sale. And no room and no cash to do owt about it now.

550 BIN for this, its got a years ticket!!! If that is not bought in the first 6 hours i'll eat my hat.

Yep, it's gone all ready .... If it hadn't I'd have bought it at that price even though I've nowhere to put it.

It's back!!!!

No mention of MOT this time though .... I've sent him a message.

I'm felling a reasonably serious lobbage for a pug 104 for some reason. Lets check a few out:

http://www.leboncoin.fr/voitures/328560781.htm?ca=15_s

This one looks pretty unremarkable TBH, though I like the idea of having one on a D/E/F-reg for MESSIN UP HEDZ. This one's 800 euro - far too much.

9481399713.jpg

http://www.leboncoin.fr/voitures/304933575.htm?ca=15_s

D-reg 'Shortcut' effort, certainly more appealing, 550 euro, whats that about 450 quid? done 120,000 miles like, i can't imagine these last forever and getting involved with the suitcase engine is never fun, ask SambaS!

9439721756.jpg

9459806101.jpg

http://www.leboncoin.fr/voitures/328277171.htm?ca=15_s

This 1978 model is supposedly fully kitted out as a rorty ZS model with twin-carb 80hp engine and 5-spd box which sounds good, he ought give it a fuggin hose down though FFS. 900 euro

9360548838.jpg

9393091294.jpg

http://www.leboncoin.fr/voitures/328259056.htm?ca=15_s

This 1975 one looks the tits though has been parked up for a while and the engine looks a bit sad. 200 euro!

9154721447.jpg

http://www.leboncoin.fr/voitures/327270312.htm?ca=15_s

Good colour!!! 1977, 500Euro

9018650101.jpg

http://www.leboncoin.fr/voitures/279930487.htm?ca=15_s

Not a 104 admittedly, but a 2-cyl metal bumper LN so super shite nonetheless. 750E but will barter!

9039795069.jpg

http://www.leboncoin.fr/voitures/326773158.htm?ca=15_s

Ex courtesy car!!! Imagine dropping off your 58-reg 3-series to get a scratch fixed and being handed the keys to this badass machine. 1000e, too much (though only 35,000 on the clock)

8929402236.jpg

http://www.leboncoin.fr/voitures/299246891.htm?ca=15_s

Now thats what i'm talkin' about! 1977, looks gr8, 500euro

8791023477.jpg

http://www.leboncoin.fr/voitures/325960030.htm?ca=15_s

YES!!! Super early 1974 model with the small boot, looks KRAKKIN. Spent 38 years asleep apparently!!! 1000euro, i'd want to barter a bit off that but this is a supa sweet 104 so wouldn't go all 'Dangerous Brothers' on his ass.

8547403122.jpg

8545464597.jpg

http://www.leboncoin.fr/voitures/325157914.htm?ca=15_s

I thought the green one was a supa early one, well heres a 1973 effort! 950 euro

8395122514.jpg

8361682973.jpg

http://www.leboncoin.fr/voitures/324734471.htm?ca=15_s

Think we've seen this one before, but no harm in seeing it again. Check the muddy funk outta that interior!!! 700 euro, i reckon this is probably the best 104 I have ever seen, the model/age/colour combo is spot on!

7738972659.jpg

http://www.leboncoin.fr/voitures/322064291.htm?ca=15_s

says this is a 1982, I reckon it must be older than that, i thought the small boot was abandoned after the first couple of years. anyway this ones only over the channel and is 250euro, seats look pappered in it mind

7397002043.jpg

http://www.leboncoin.fr/voitures/320570623.htm?ca=15_s

You see loads in this dismal green colour, it was very common on late model ones, which always look battered and worthless when you see them in use. They can look sweet though when minted up:

7439615273.jpg

The dusty one is 500 euro, not super cheap like

6571372744.jpg

6528797402.jpg

http://www.leboncoin.fr/voitures/293763576.htm?ca=15_s

This one looks a cracker, check out the interior. The lad says 'will need head gasket soon' rather worryingly. 750euro

104 overload!!! ENOUGH!

These 104 are great little cars. My mate had one when we were finishing high school. It was a late 70's with the same interior as that last blue one (his was gold), and, I kid you not, it went like stink ! I'm guessing it must have been a 1.1 - doesn't sound like much, but it was really nippy and he had great fun leaving behind 309's at the lights (the nineties :o)...

+1 on that. My Uni mate had an orange ZS and we had tremendous fun in it - even 4 up.
