Did they build them at the factory that used to be in Coventry maybe?

 

 

Could be, maybe it hasn't got a chassis number so can't be registered ,though that doesn't seem to stop the defenders ending up back on the road when the old chassis snaps in half

The description says the lights were vandalised and so was the bodywork. The rest is fine. 30 miles from new.

GR8 4 cooking square sausage @ Shitefest.  Or at least it would be if it was 1/5 of the price.  And actually a barbecue.

That isn't brand new. I'd hazard a guess and say it's 10 years old.

It's at least 16years old. The larger grilled facelift model came in for the 2003 year. I predict it must have been a cancelled fleet order which got lost in the system and ended up languishing quietly in the corner of a compound. To avoid complication or recourse its been been sent for breaking.

I actually like these, but this one looks like a badly thrown together mockup of a potential SD1 replacement. Badly fitting doors, headlights that look like they've been pinched from something else, misshapen front end.
