Slum living, right here:

'LS' spec, which gets you, erm, full vinyl seats, with interior door handles straight from a 1960's portable sewing machine.

Infill segment to left of the speedo, with only 2 of the 4 available segments offering any information.

And amongst the the plethora of deleted things are the flipping fascia vents!!!

Imagine the soul destroying helplessness that is suffering a New Zealand summer in a vinyl-seated car with a couple of ventilation denying plastic in-fill bottle tops mocking you and your sorry little existence.

FYI, philibusmo attempted to buy this very specimen a while back but the seller won't budge on price.

Here's a more upmarket Chrysler:

360 cu inch motor in excelent condition when i parked her up 10 years ago, but has not been started since. I tryed to start last month but it gives a click noise and i don't have time to look any further. Moved house and i'm far too busy.

Fair play mate, I fully understand, much appreciated.

Left wing mirror is in the box of bits. Right one needs screws to keep up.

Would you Adam & Believe it, I've actually got some screws at home!! Fate is calling me on this one.

And don't forget the empty tin of creosote and various bathroom fittings thrown in to the deal.

No visible rust in the boot compartment. I lost the boot key but it opens with a button inside glove box as long as a battery is in it, the bootlid shuts perfect but i took battery out so that is why i keep bootlid a bit open as in the photos.

Makes sense to me. Batteries and continually solid parts of cars are over-rated, I find.

Stereo deck unit i am keeping.

Possible swap for truck, digger, housebus

I think any of those would be a fair swap, as would 2.5 large. HOW IS THIS STILL FOR SALE@@@!@!????

"drives as it should" well, for a 50's saloon i can imagine that keeping it in a straightline will be a challenge, that it won't want to stop, and will roll like an ocean going yatch.

If any 50s saloon displays the symptoms you describe, this should be thoroughly investigated and fixed.

I think you grossly underestimate the capabilities of 1950s cars and by the same amount overestimate the progress* made since then.

Eyes can't decide whether to look at the shell or the depiction of a horse scooping up a woman in a dress and high heels
