However much I wanted or needed a box for horses or a horse-piss scented camper I couldn't be doing with one of these bodies that stops the cab tipping. Such a flipping nuisance just for that little space over the cab!

I might be wrong but I imagine this business of 'moving back in with me mum' is quite common among middle aged trike builders

That type of soft tail trike with a live axle must put some interesting stresses on the rear fork mountings and frame.  One rear wheel hits a bump and it wants to twist the modified rear fork and thus load the frame in ways that the original configuration would not, same on corners.  Barely better than a hard tail.  At least it is registered as a Yamaha with three wheels and not a Reliant.
