This is quite nice eh. To my eyes the wooden bodied trucks look a bit more rustic and less like a flippin blot on the landscape. Dont tknow that I'd fancy piloting one of these things to spain and back every year though

You'd only have to do it once if you plan it right and get a film crew to follow you as you have an adventure, shades of Cliff Richards' Summer Holiday with a bit of Oz Clarke wine tasting and Rick Stein al fresco cooking, visit incredible undiscovered locations and ad a bit of surfing so that when you get back you can sell the film, set up a company doing similar conversions which you get someone else to manage while you fly off in the private jet that you've bought off the back of it.

Its been asleep in France for 40 years apparently. A mate had one like this, it cost him £40 in 1977 but it had an 1198 engine from an Anglia 'Super'. Unsurprisingly, it was horrible to drive and also wasn't worth £10,000.

Have you ever harboured a secret ambition to be a cut-price Eddyramrod?  Well, here's your chance.

Comedy VED mind.

Buttery biscuit bASe (metallic paint notwithstanding) Renault Clio with a hole in the sill.  Looks tidy otherwise though.

Would it still be a 3.3 Cresta engine in one this late, or would it be something completely different?  Senator 3.0i perhaps?

[wiki]  The six-cylinder petrol power units were the 214P 3.5-litre and the 300P 4.9-litre

So that will be the old TK units, carried over.  Bedford's own, a development from the wartime Bedfords, I suspect

Great photograph there. I assume that gate does actually open, unless you expect the winning bidder to stand on one side while you slice bits off the van and pass them through the bars for reassembly?

Please take another picture. The other gate's open, take the next picture through the other gate.

Okay, that one's my fault. I should have specified that I meant through the opening left by the other gate, not through the gate itself.
