useless phact #23 James Hunt drove one, then could afford to, it was on bricks outside his Wimbledon home for a year or so, confirmed by photo and my Brothers mate Gerry who lived down the road at that time.

The boot had a stash of porn aledgedly

It's still around which is nice to see. Cazana says it's been with it's current owner since 2000. Seems to be doing about 4k miles a year.

pretty much when I saw it.

It was nearly 8 bags back then which was salty for a 6.9, the Hunt Provenance was selling it to me.

Garage would have been nowhere near big enough

I was kind of pondering dropping this ringing kit into the Just bridge it thread but as there is actual bidding on it....

Currently at £285

A bullet proof working Land Rover................pulls anything, I cannot fault this thing for pulling and pushing.

None of those words match my experience with Freelanders, but still a soft roader for £285 with a day and a half to go just before Christmas a bargain could be had..

Junkman will NOT like the location, probably not the car either

NOVA has nothing to do with carte gris or anything else. You just 'do a NOVA', you don't need any paperwork for that. And yes, it's entirely possible and quite easy to register a car here without a carte gris or whatever, but in that case it's probably not worth the hassle of bringing that thing back...

Sorry, I meant DVLA.

And no, it is generally not possible to register a car without paperwork.

You need to send in the originals, they don't even accept copies.

'MANY YEARS AGO IT WAS FITTED WITH A PERKINS DIESEL ENGINE AND IT HAS AN OVERDRIVE GEARBOX,WE HAVEN'T TRIED TO GET IT RUNNING'

Because it's quicker and less painful to walk everywhere instead?

As someone who was once unfortunate enough to depend upon a Perkins 4203 powered* SIII for daily transport, I can only say that repeatedly slamming my tallywhacker in a door would be preferable to owning another one.
