Bugger.  The ebay listing calls it petrol, and that tallies with the little I know of the model structure, which is that the Si should be petrol.  If I win it I guess we will find out.

Seller sez it's petrol, so whack in a higher bid.

Also, a 1994cc Diesel didn't exist, it would be the 2.5 VM turbo.

 

However, the seller's phone number is in the ad, so what are you waiting for?

Strange I've checked it via DVLA direct site and it says its a - Diesel lol

 

Paperwork error as SI is petrol.

I'd be well over that Thesis if it was in the UK. Can't imagine my insurance liking me much though if I tried to get cover on that...it's just an Alfa Romeo with a different dress on etc

No relation.

 

It was a disaster for Fiat group.  You'd think it was the Alfa 166 platform sister, but it's not.  Bits of suspension shared with Maserati for starters

I know, but my insurance wouldn't have to know that.... 

 

There's still a few in businessman ferrying duty in Rome last time I went, but the bad ones look awful. Imagine one covered in parking bashes and faded headlight covers. Doesn't do it any favours.

Yes you do, but they're all 200s. Seems like every other R8 on eBay is a 216 auto.

That one has a fucked autobox too, which is why it's still at its starting bid.
