performed faultlessly over 750 miles in 3 days, even sitting in traffic the temp gauge sat perfectly in the middle and never budged, also used no oil or water.

Is that meant to be some sort of achievement?

I've done more miles in the same time in an older car, several times, and it too performed faultlessly... plus I didn't need to beat it senseless with the ugly stick and beg money for charidee.

 

I saw a similarly-adorned X-Type in the scrap yard a few weeks back. That's where this one belongs, and the person selling it.

??? They aren't!

Poland is just £50 / Ryan Air and a couple of days gentle driving plus ferry away.

Plenty of interpreters / collection guides available for £100 plus expenses for the trip.
