That Firebird is a bit tasty in brown.  Like Jim Rockford's, only browner.  Rockford is definitely the American private eye of choice for shiters.

Have another breadvan, this time with bonus Steve Norris sticker.

I met Steve Norris once, a long time ago.  At that time he was the MP whose constituency included the Cowley plant, while at the same time flogging VWs to the middle classes of Wiltshire - the irony of which was not lost on him.

That Breadvan is yay cheap at present, but is VAG and therefore EVIL.  I met Steve Norris in the same era as you did, Skizzer.  Norris turned up at an immigration tribunal to support my client, one of his East Oxford constituents whose fiance had been refused entry clearance on the basis of crappy and really rather racist Thatcherite immigration rules.    We won the appeal.  Norris struck me as a decent chap.  I think that he might have made a better job of being the first London Mayor than Ken did, and I say this despite me being a lefty gobshite.

Not half bad!  Also World of Pain, but hey.

This at least slightly rusty 1992 XJS is probably better than my very rusty 1992 XJS.  Wonder what the reserve is.

I've spoken to the owner about this little belter, and he confirms that it has some rust, no paint, and a bit of rot in the woodwork. The roof is gone and the Dubonnet front suspension gives vague handling, which is only to be expected with Vauxhall entrusting this area of design to a wine producer. I believe the wipers are mechanically driven from the camshaft, a ludicrous idea.

This all leaves me with no other option than to stick a bid on it.

This was on here a while back.  It sold today for 1399.  I almost bid, but am glad that I didn't.

remember when Metro's like this could be seen trundling around the local garden centre on a Sunday afternoon?

this which looks to have a crusty front valence and wing bottoms has otherwise only covered 9927 miles.
