A 1300 ford OHV donk plus CVT box sounds like a quick way to persuade someone onto public transport. Looks quite sharp though - WOOD

I did for about 10 miles, seemed a terrible match. The 1.8d would've been better.

I beg to differ. Greatly beg to differ. The 1.3 is hopelessly slow, wheezy and rattly, but has some sort of (really) odd charm to it. The diesel has no attributes whatsoever, hateful things.

 

That red (earlier) one is class.

Despite none of these being 1.3s and a boot badge that says 1.4, it's listed as being a 1.3. In fairness l'd still take this for a seemingly innocent test drive, turn off down the country lanes and repeatedly bum it.

I saw an MG6 the other day with a wanky personalised plate 'S33XY D' or some such bollocks. A friggin MG6! These people should not be allowed to have money.

Most of the MG6 parts catalogue is already NLA. Running one in 10 years' time will be a heroic undertaking.

A mate's Mrs had one for a while.  He reckons it was diabolical - on the motorway he couldn't keep up with his mate in a 1-litre Corsa.
