There's the slight problem of this needing a new engine, but as it doesn't seem to be rusty you could probably buy it, put a new motor in, drive around for a year and still not lose any money.  Dunno if a 1.6 engine is difficult to find or if a 1.8 is a straightforward replacement?

See, I'd love to find a solid bodied early MX5 and lob my engine into it, but sod paying £700 for one with a horrible half-arsed paint job like that.

I had a 200 SX when it was 7 years old, 1 owner car. Twas a good thing. Shame those, 300's and Skylines are all Max Powered now.

I'd happily roll a Mk1 Mondeo but the V6s were pissing awful. Rattly, smoky and not quick enough to make them worthwhile.
