Was really liking it but not sure about 133 miles in the last 5 years. Averaged 11 miles a year the last 2 years :shock: I know Petrol was stupidly expensive for a while but even though !!

 

I'm rather more wary of the fact it doesn't run, needs rewiring and has been on fire recently. Oh, and the fact he wants £1800 for this scrap write off.

Thats grim. Wonder what made the owner think, if i park this on wasteground near some public bogs, with loads of rubbish from the last "guests" sure it will sell.

To think my wife sold my 1 owner (before me) for £250. It was absolutely mint (of course I spent loads on it to get all the dents made by the giffer owner out and NOS parts). I loved my Metro 1.0 City. The most basic one you could get!

Looks nice but far from base, automatic, electric roof and if the seller is to be believed( no picture of dash) aircon. Quite unusual for a 200 to be specced up like that, but maybe it was a head office ' management' or press car as Milton Keynes didn't have a local tax office so a lot of HQ cars are NV's ( Northampton).

When it was new it probably cost the same as a fully loaded Scorpio or Carlton CDX.

Gumtree rather than eBay, and the link didn't work when I tried it, but was amused to see this ad for a Renault McGann pop up, believe it's a special edition in honour of a well known family of actors.....

This 2 cylinder LNA is said to have a 2CV engine; should be a Visa engine n'est-ce-pas? 

 

Yup, LNA will be 652cc.  LN was 602.

good grief..... the flippin' thing is MINT (save the o/s headlamp that's got some condensation in it) even the nylon material that disintegrates in the sun is spotless!!

 

its the proper povvo spec one to, podded lights and no rear wash/wipe.

 

its got 2 wing mirrors though, had it become mandatory to put 2 mirrors on a car by then (1988)?
