Australians would be foaming at the mouth....

That'll be the result of stress brought on by living in a country where literally everything wants to kill you.

I fear that this may be the plot of some horror film... a Shiter goes to North Yorkshire to pick up a £100 Pug 405 with MOT til September, from a dilapidated looking caravan only to be greeted by some kind of axe wielding maniac... I'm scared already!

Rover 75

Fuck me, it's brand new.

Insurance is a billion pounds for some reason.

Linky

Why would insurance be expensive for the slowest version of a very conservative car of negligable value?

But at £400 you've gotta go and have a look, seeing as it's local. I am not a 75 fancier but that does look cracking value if you can live with that interior. (I can't. Except for the seats; they look nice.)

I don't know that much about Imperials - but is this a 1963 with a 1962 boot lid? Nicely excessive, either way. A proper American car from the good old days.

Junkman will be along to admonish the English for their patronage of American cars.

What makes you think that?

Generalised ignorance, probably. I was labouring under the misapprehension that the '63 lid had a round wheel shape pressed into it.

The '61 - '63 lids are exactly the same stampings, just the trim differs from year to year.

The 'Flight Sweep Panel' (vulgo: toilet seat) was always an extra cost option on any Mopar so equipped,

with the sole exceptions being the 1960/61 Valiant and 1960 Chrysler 300F, which had it as standard equipment.

Is there a way to tell where in the country that is? It's rather nice.

I don't know where it is but working from my location on my phone it's telling me it's 167 miles away from me, I'm in Stoke on trent
