We used to have this one's twin, bought with 177k and taken to 254k including 3.2k in the last 5 weeks I had it. Almost everything was wanked at 200k, -wipers, locks, seats, windows etc though engine and box hung on. Mercs have better quality fixtures and fittings. I liked it despite being shit off boost and I never saw 40mpg.

I owned this Cavalier briefly 2 years ago, as did our Wuv. It's the car responsible for the Joe Cleland moniker when he nailed it on the SF14 test track! I thought it had been scrapped, but looks in good shape (even if it is doom blue).

I COULD SEE THAT THE MICE HAD NIBBLED THE WIRES JOINED 3 WIRES AND TRIED STARTING IT DID TURN OVER BUT DID NOT START AND THAT'S AS FAR AS I GOT.

did a service on the gear box, but now it can't select gears, will be a simple fix I just have no time for it.

Methinks you've done rather well, there.

 

There are members on here who jizz like uncontrollable yoghurt fountains at the prospect of owning a Mondeo without a rev-counter.

I had one when they were at their lowest, it was fantastic off road, shaming other 4X4s in mud and snow. Easy to fix, but could rust for England, or Italy!

Can anyone see in the pics if this is an auto?

It's at the bottom of my road so if anyone does buy it then delivery can be arranged.
