be worth trying to start her up in neutral, mine sometimes likes to play silly buggers and won't start in park, but shift down into neutral and away she goes...

 

going against it, its a none runner, and the back wheel arches are not that clever. and there are holes in the front bumper where the headlamp washers were.

 

but its a good colour, does have its full tool kit and has some history with is nice, and its got cruise which mine doesn't have. plus as the outer back arches are not spot welded to the inners so the repair is quiet simple, even if it does mean that the repair sections will need to be tweeked so the profile matches an X300, a the only ones available are for an XJ40.

 

 

i wonder how much it would be to have it towed down to north yorks?

This looks tasty for not a huge amount of money (and looks like he has dropped the price once...)

 

Near me is a car lot (buy-your-own-warranty, come-back-tomorrow-I'll-have-a-battery-on-it type) with a shonky Bini for this money. Whatever a modern car can do that this can't I will just do without....
