thats kinda what i was thinking.

these korean things tend to run forever, and been the big car, its bound to have plenty of toys and that, which will still be working, most likely?

and then for £800 to a grand, they seem to be a big ol' thing for not many pennies....

If you're after a Magentis I'd go for the V6.  They really do go well, and they're not that thirsty for what they are.  They also go round corners incongruously well for a giffermobile.  The rest of the car is typically Korean - built from cheap materials, but well screwed together.

Slightly damaged automatic Arouser on a BIN.  Nothing particularly exciting, but the listing is one of the better ones I've read this week.

I have put this here before, several years ago. but this time is not for the shiteness, it is for the lack of photo opportunities.

1, A fairly standard photo for selling a car

2, Same again, but look at the background between the garage and house, absolutely stunning!

I could live with that view while having breakfast.

Nah, honestly, I could.

UK shite in Daytona....I hope the seller uses the cash to get some corrective shoes as one leg seems shorter than the other judging by the pictures

Yes, I was considering buying it about a year ago (and it had been for sale a while then). The outdoor pictures are from then. I talked to the chap on the phone and he was very pleasant and all, but it was too far away to conveniently go and look at it plus it was rather pricey, and another came up locally.

Discussion of it here: http://autoshite.com/topic/16619-role-reversal-renault-16-surprising-dilemma/?p=558275

I probably overpaid for mine, but it was a lot less than that. Mine needs paint, really, but I like patina and at least I can see where the repairs are.

I would defo check the chassis number of this before handing over any £££ in case its not a real GT40

I do believe that's a Cheetah Shamal kit from the 1980s - one of the absolute shitest kits ever made, and that's saying something.

Look at the doors and you'll see it's not a GT40 replica at all, but was intended as a replica of... the Lambo Miura !

Not entirely sure it's worth the asking and it's hard to ignore the obvious problem (IE it's a Vectra) but there's something appealing to me about low spec/big engine combos. I suspect you could have quite a lot of fun in this.
