Re the SEAT Marbella. Way back in the early nineties, my dad had one of these as a hire car in Italy. My abiding memory was the rear seat was basically a hammock with the fabric draped between a bar where the parcel shelf met and one at knee height.

All the ones I've seen since have proper rear seats. Did I dream this or was it's it a mega povo spec special?

Don't know about the Marbella, but the hammock seat was a feature of early Pandas., I think you could even slide the poles out to wash the cover.

I was quite disappointed to find the 92 Marbella my mum bought new had a normal back seat.

That MOT'd yellow R15 just sold for 800 quid on Ebay. In my area but never seen it.

I thought Pluriel was something you got when you went swimming in anAafrican river and a worm swam up your bobbie. Something that's possibly preferable to owning a Citroen Pluriel fitted with a 1.4 diesel engine.

Did M. Bolleaux manage to sell the Argenta first time around?

No, not much interest and now the MOT is nearly up so I need to sort that and have a renewed effort to sell this.

That's brilliant, I would love to see it once it's restored.

DONK.

The Pluriel's modular roof idea would have been good as an attention grabbing concept but it should never have made production. I really want to like the Pluriel but not having somewhere in the car to store the removed pillars was a colossally stupid oversight.

I really wish I had the cash to snap up the grannie coupe. One of my favourite cars EVA.

Those mk1 fiesta boot lids where made out of unicorn tits 20 years ago I imagine they haven't got easier to acquire with age. You used to see loads of mk1 Fiestas with mk2 tailgates all over the place.

Ford stopped making the mk1 tailgate and superseded the part number to the later one. So it could be period accident repairs. Still not worth 2.5k though
