how in god's name is that pile of detritus worth £2k+ ?

MG scene tax; it's a C type roadster, not the GT, = a rare motor-car (so effing what???); ugh !!

This illustrates the restoration problem of the 100 old year axe; what's left - an original chassis plate, or the odd nadger nut from Abingdon, if that?

And, what's the point of buying an MGB / MGC when MX5s are infinitely superior at a fraction of the cost??

Cor; 'retro classic' - I remember very well when these were new, my girlfriend at the time had one, and she demolished a lovely old cast iron fluted lampost in Brighton with hers, whilst doing a three-pointer. Happy days !

Its probably because someone can get the V5 build a new one from scratch and sell it for £££. Not sure who buys these though? Can't see the appeal.

I don't think I've seen a rr with cloth before, nor a lightly murdered sheep in the footwell.

I tested a Silver Wraith with crushed blue Dralon rather than leather - the latter creaks whereas the former is silent.

The ad for that rolls is crap really. He mentions the lambs "skin" rugs. They are lambs wool and a very expensive extra if they were in good condition which they are not. He also makes a point of the proper avon turbospeed tyres. Then the photo shows a continental truck tyre on it. I would give this one a wide berth as it doesn't look remotely looked after

That 2CV 're-skin' looks like something you'd get in a Christmas cracker.
