I had the bloody Austin version of 2200, without a doubt the worse bloody car i ever owned by miles.

 

The only good thing about it was the engine gearbox weighed so much (pulled it out on 4 leg puller which sunk in the road) that it ploughed through 8" deep snow like  nothing else i've driven.

So heavy is the front end that reinforced (read 6 ply in the old money) tyres are specified.

 

Wouldn't mind another B engined Landcrab mind, preferably an S with power steering.

This car as had £15,000 spent on part over the last three years that i have full recites for

 

£15k on parts? FUCK OFF!!!! The bulkhead is made from checker plate and it has shitty halfords multifit wheels. I would give a maximum of £300 for this box of piss.

That was mine, he has taken the good bits off though and is trying to flog it for a lot more money... It had some really nice period Japanese wing mirrors and wheels on when I built it. I think it looks arse on those wolfies :( It defo has 124K on it too. It's a fairly tidy car but it had had 5!!! pairs of sills on it. It really wants doorskins all round but it is a cool little thing, it's proper dinky!
