I, too, mustard mitt that I find it strangely appealing and it found its way onto my watchlist.

Kind of the antidote to the two 405 2.0 Badermatic estates I had, and without a doubt not less sturdy than those.

I take the liberty to remind you that there is also a saloon out there

with an interior like a fairy tale came true:

How nice would it be to own the set?

last owner was woman from 1994

Not clear if the last owner was a time traveller or had their gender 'reassigned' in the early 1990s.

I'm afraid I'd stick with the estate. It's an estate, and an Executive one at that. Saloon seller was expecting daft money a few weeks ago so reality still probably hasn't kicked in for them. Temporal shift effect or something.

Seller's replies to questions are suspiciously vague and evasive though.
Also, if the car is running, why wasn't it driven out of the garage barn it was found in, washed, and properly photographed?

Not sure what I find weirder, the seller's vagueness, despite he had the car "a while", or meanwhile 29 bids from people that - at an educated guess - haven't seen the car up close yet.

Then there is this Camry from a period when cars were still made:

Only the non-brownness of the interior and the Frankensteinian gearbox prevent me from shelling out the comparatively stiff asking price.

This has been on sale for literally years, maybe about four.  Each garage, don't know how many there have been, refuses to sell it at a sensible price.

Can't see this MOT'd MK2 Estate knocking about too long at £850

Lordy - This rhapsody in beige lives a 15 minute walk from my old gaff in NW London!

Never seen it move - And it doesn't look like it's moved much since this google streetview pic taken 2 years back...(!)
