I'd be interested to know more about that Mini, not least how much is it? Also, does the private plate come with, as it clearly isn't a 1970 car.

I was wondering about the plate too. Looks like an H but H is at the wrong end of course. Will PM you tomorrow.

and blow me down, another beige (well its beige under all that dirt) has gone and escaped out from the secret BMC/BL bunker.

this one though looks like the suspension has collapsed (burst?) so i fear it will end up been a donor, given that its a 1275..... shame.

Low mileage and low owner Xsara with expired MOT, £75! Last MOT has just 2 trivial advisories.

LOL @ the speedometer. Not quite sure how the needle managed to go all the way to its limits. Needs a new dash at least.

Probably nothing really that wrong with it, that a few parts from a scrappy wouldn't fix. Just even fixed, its probably only worth a couple hundred quid - but I guess the trader cba as they have more risk comeback if its not sold spares+repairs.

fitted with the cloth trim/carpets etc., from a later car(big improvement,I think)

Oh, yeah, the late 80s a great time for Minis. Not ruined at all.

I may start cleaning it next week

Don't stress yourself, it's only a £3,400 car

He's been trying to sell that for ages, at least the price is heading the right way now, even if it is still a bit rich.
