It looks in good condition and low mileage(and same family from new, FSH, etc), but a shade under two and a half grand for a 1.4, 5 door Mk3 Golf seems a bit steep....

I'm fairly sure that I posted this before the turn of the new year.

One of them air bags went off in my face. when I drove into a parked lamp post at 40 mph.

Probably saved my life.

Check out this early 4x4 Cav, shame about the decals but I am sure a day with some g3 and a hot air gun and this would look fit.

Is this the 2.0 SEH 130 bhp 8V or the 2.0 SE 115 BHP 8V - judging my the colour coded bumpers I say the later, but judging by the age and steel wheels I'd say the former. Very much want one, but don't have the balls to risk it.

I do hope it's one of us that's high-bidder on that 827!  I'd have slung one in, but Kent?  Nahhhhhhhhhhh...

Ex-Ford press/fleet vehicle.

**Trivia**

There were a load of XR2i's with G*** XVX plates that were press vehicles. We had G110 XVX at college - a pre-registered XR2i with a prototype 1800 Zeta (Zetec) engine fitted, which was to become standard fit from 1992MY onwards.
