Bidding now up to £1,320.

Some decent executive barges on the Bay of E tonight. :D

Isn't this the one that was recently posted on here for sale near Basildon for £500?.

Edit - Yes it is.

Seems like that Senny should have gone in the "Bargains" thread.

I can honestly say that this is the most troublesome car I have ever had the misfortune to waste my money on

I am selling it now as I refuse to support the French economy any longer by buying things from Renault, who incidentally are hopeless

I should list some good points about the car, but there aren't any

Espace fail

That's got to be one of the greatest adverts I've ever seen on ebay!

That is my favourite ebay description of the year so far, 12/10 for honesty there. It's hardly surprising Renault couldn't manage to flog the Laguna and Espace over here any more given their reputation for frightenly bad build quality. I know someone who had a 53 plate Espace, it lunched its gearbox at 90,000 miles. He now drives a RAV4.

The C15 has kind of given me a taste for one of these...

$(KGrHqVHJC8FFGdpfJUIBRYWTDF(j!~~60_1.JPG

This a classic small car from the eighties, in the evocative Citroen colour of Delage Red. The interior is original and in yellow/beige, the perfect contrast for red paintwork

will be replaced by a CX or XM, so if you are thinking about downsizing, let's talk about a deal

Stupidest van ever

140.jpg

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1979-VOLKSWAG ... 6445053%26

(scuse the small pic, the ones ont advert are stupidly big)

--yeah good luck loading shit onto the back of that, and good luck not turning it on its head when you go round a corner. Also good luck not getting knocked off the M6 by an artic whilst you're trying to eke more than 43mph out of it.

Could this be the next White 405 Saga?

Rather high start price - Check

Poor Photos - Check

"Drives well and starts every time" - Check

And the absolute must, a fucked handbrake cable, no ABS or Traction Control due to the ABS sensors being borked and phantom AC (Except, it came as an option on this one, it's not just some prick mistaking the Reciculation button for AC!!!)

I give you this 8)

Still 76,000 times nicer than a VW van of any description, although it is pretty shite, I admit.

Ford Sierra RS Cosworth... without Cosworth engine, loom or "front beam".

FSH for both the Cossie, and the car that the engine came out of.

I'd say a better starting point than this:

It is a VW van.

At least you'd struggle to fit a steel roofrack with a BMX and old suitcases strapped to it

That Espace ad is hilarious!

I fear that black Visa GT is going to become the new white 405, it's been on here at least twice since I put it up a few weeks ago and he still hasn't been arsed pulling it out the garage to get a decent pic of it.

Meanwhile, on the subject of small French chod for a grand, here's another R5 auto.

I enjoyed that Renner Espace advert, actally made me laugh unlike most eBay 'comedians'. Particularly liked this bit:

Front bottom suspension arms £300

Or an interesting way to die, arrested as a terrorist, get taken out by a budget firework, etc.

Another project GTV. I was seriously thinking about bidding on this as I have cash in my pocket after that Xantia affair and a mig that will work4electricity.

However my lockup is really short and I only just fitted a TR7 in it.

TR7 length: 4067mm

GTV length: 4260mm

Balls. I'm not sure I have that 20 cm to give.
