The garage I bought the car from rang me earlier, they said the finance company had been on the phone and said I could upgrade, in other words we want to sell you another car. Thanks but no thanks, Eccles is going nowhere

It is, I had to look it up as I wasn't sure if it was a 1100 or 1300

Eccles covered over 300 miles today, clicked over 126k on the way to Wales. There's only around 100 miles difference between the 2 cars now. He did over 120 miles yesterday going to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park

The other day Eccles overtook the Purple Peril in terms of mileage

Started planning next year's adventures with Eccles, so far on the list are the Mid Suffolk Light Railway,  the Norfolk and Suffolk Aviation Museum, The Black Country Museum, the Anderton Boat Lift and the air museum at Newark

Had a trip out with  Eccles and the camera today down into Cambridgeshire, in Huntingdon I came across a small museum about Oliver Cromwell which was interesting, free entry as well. Eccles did about 250 miles in total today

Started Eccles up this morning to be met with a hill start assist not available message, anyone any ideas as to what could be causing it?

Scan it for fault codes, something like a faulty wheel speed sensor will knock out hill start assist.

I'd expect the abs light to be on as well? Possibly after you drive it down the road?

Had a text from the garage I bought the car from trying to get me to buy another car from them, no thanks I'm happy with Eccles. Been no repeat of the hill start message since the other morning, started it up that night and nothing and been fine since, though I will be ringing the garage tomorrow to get it booked in to get a knocking sound from the front looked at, sounds like it's coming from the suspension but we shall see. I doubt its the bushes as both suspension arms were replaced at the MOT
