Chevy coupe is cherry!Old wheel looks very much like an early Ford one. Nice seat too!

The 2 dr green Yank tank is a 1975 Plymouth Fury. These were the 'downsized' ones after the 73 fuel crisis - the larger ones were renamed Gran Fury (the same shape as the Dodge Monaco (The Bluesmobile)).In 4 dr form these 'B body' cars in Plymouth and Dodge form were very popular as police cars as they were fast and relatively agile due to their smaller size. As seen in all late 70s/80s US cop shows, most notably the favourite steed of Sheriff Roscoe P Coltrane.

Love the Rovers, especially the P6 with bull bars. There are probably more decent Viva HA's in NZ than the UK now!

Difficult to know what to say about them really, amazing! Not just the scrapyard stuff, but what you get to see on the streets. Extraordinary variety.

Several thoughts occur.1. Is your friend an extra in Flight of The Conchords?2. Blotchy Oxford = WIN3. Is that a squished Fregate in the last shot? Mr. Bickle has one of those, I saw it at the Retro Rides Gathering but he buggered off before I could have a chat........

Posted

I kinda know half of the Conchords..ive given it a glance but have no real association..its a Wellington thing...im a small town artist loser...is it a Fregate..i thought it was a Dauphine..but your probably right...the front looks different..
