I cut down a toothbrush and fitted the head into a piece of dowel.

Trimmed the bristles and checked for fitment- success. It's clamped now so the glue can fully set overnight. The guides should clean up, I'll lap the seats and reassemble.

So far so good

Glue alone didn't work, so I drilled a 1/16" hole through the top of the stick to hold the brush on, and hammered a pin through to hold it in place.

This proved successful and the guides cleaned up, with the brush and brake cleaner flushing through into cloth below.

Started to lap the valves in.

Ran out of time but it's starting to look good already.

Got this far with the valves. Engine needs to be rotated to bring the followers off the cam to do the rest.

Black and dark gray done. Light gray once that's dry.

It's starting to look like I wanted it to.

That's about 12 feet wide by 4 feet tall. Wall is 16x4 in total.

bloody hell!

I mean it was very impressive, then I just saw the scale of it! the first picture for some reason made me think it was being drawn on a plank of wood something a bit wider than a 2x4,

then i realised it was the entire wall!

that is seriously impressive!

my hubnut beanie is well and truly doffled

Damn that's impressive. You really are a man of many talents. That picture is certainly better than some banana taped to  wall.??

Had a few minutes, lapped the new valve into the seat, cleaned and fitted #1 intake and exhaust and set the clearances to 13 thou'.

Feeling rough as arses today so didn't get much done. #6 intake and exhaust put together and clearances set.

I may film the rigamarole it is putting it together.

I went outside, set up, filmed away, came back in and the camera said NO FILE ON SD CARD

I hate technology sometimes
