The bonus of having a CF is that you’re much more likely to get someone that wants to swap a CF for it.

Well I've just dropped a deposit to the current owner of this......... and will be winging my way to UK for a trip home asap. It'll be after the lads n dads holiday next week...... need to find a class7 test place in Bristol area to wang it through..... fingers crossed it doesn't need a mountain of work. I kinda know the seller and he's a good lad, so I'm not expecting anything nightmare-ish.

Currently running without lights and had a Frontera 2.3TD swap all done......... expecting front brakes need refurb for test but everything else seems good. He did an extensive walk-around vid for me and I'm itching to go get it!

Erm don't you need to chop loads out of the crossmember to fit the frontera motor?

If it's going abroad why not just use the recovery mot exemption to get a tax disc to get you out the country?

This afternoon, too late to get a pic in natural light, I found something I've had 35 years or so and thought had gone missing long ago.  Only... a Bluey Hills pin badge!  I'll get a pic tomorrow.

^^ Crikey, when I glanced at that pic I thought it was maybe an old favourite from the past, the CBS Supervan from the very early 80s.

4.4 Rover V8 and V12 Jag IRS (and the Jag front suspension too).

Check out those tail-lights.

This was bedroom-wall material when I was 13.

For some reason it reminds me of Debbie Harry and Kim Wilde. Yes, both of them. The pair of minxes.

FFS, in 1981 Debbie Harry was 35.

But anyway, back to CFs . . . .

What's the French for "It's got a cop motor, a 440-inch plant"? ;)

Appealing as the idee might be, une projet de travail is out of the question.

That van managed to make it through to '93 when it was last taxed.

93 was a good run then.  I well remember the CBS van, I thought that was a splendid move for a business.  Our bakery vans aren't even lettered!

I saw these today on the way home from dropping the camper off for a pre MOT and thought of you. They both look rough (the one infront has no windows in!) but I can PM details of where I saw them if you're interested. They've been there for at least 18 months.

That could be interesting!  Thank you :)

The blue one is at least a petrol, officially, but the Opel engine... to be expected with the plastic front.  I wonder where they've been all this time?

What time's the next plane, and can you pick me up from the airport?
