With Scotland a bit of a stretch for me this year, and Bulgaria a pipe dream, is there much interest in a meet somewhere North or South of the border?

Absolutely. North for selfish preference - had hoped to make the Dublin meet-up back in 2016, but other stuff came up preventing it being feasible.

One venue where, turning up in my Carina II, a guy might shout 'aye, Carinas all over there m8'... lol

Im in Tipp so SOUTH would be a preference for me; Midlands, or Caaaavin at a stretch... Depends on the usual stuff like work, other commitments...

If I can make it happen to attend, I have a suitably shite, and mind-bending to an RSA inspector, 90's DIY built car transporter if sanyone from this end of the country wants a 'non legal' shitter of much WOW dragged to it, like a tagora, Alpine, Miserati, allegro etc. for everyone to marvel over,....

There's a pub near me that happily provides his lovely dry Riverside field for camping; eircooled have used it for their summer meet the last couple of years. Some of the best driving roads on the island around it too

As long as we aren't talking Cork I'm more than up for a jaunt down the big road

Gandon's Pub outside Portlaoise? I remember commenting on Junkman's Eire leg of his 'Climate improvement' Granada estate thread? ...used to be a spring n autumn VAG lickers meet I used to go to there; the chap seems very receptive n accommodating to car saddo's, n its got a decent sized car park...?

...anyways its 'an option'...

Co. Wicklow, this spot is near Avoca, The Farrier's In (not a misspelling)

Within 5 miles of closest m/N11 junction

Happy to travel anywhere on this little green field of ours.

You mean The Gandon Inn at Emo?

The car park is vast and Tom would certainly not object to some shiters racking up a bar bill the size of Canada.

Function room available too, provided it isn't booked for a Farmers' Meeting or a Senegalese Wedding.

Does Wicklow suit everyone? It's 130 miles from me which isn't outrageous.

A weekend would suit me best, should we aim for early or mid summer?

Can I suggest an event tag and dates on the OP?

I'm tempted to come over, not been to Ireland for a few years & it's a lovely place so it is.
