I may have seen a thousand of them and not realised they weren't VW/Audi/Honda/Toyota/etc. All post millennium cars look the same to me cos I am nearing fossilisation.

Yes there's a few knocking about over here. See lots of Clio Estates that is another one I dont think is available in UK. I wouldn't lose any sleep about it to be honest.

I think the reason Renault cut their range over here was due to the epically shit Megane's and Laguna's built during the noughties. The cars were so bad they damaged the brand badly and it will take years for the car buying public to erase the memory of all the money lost on them. Their reputation for poor electrics came about during that decade and it has tainted them like Lancia were in the '70's for rust.

There's next to no market for non-"premium" large cars in the UK unless it's a taxi driver favourite.

I put 1000 KM on one over the summer.  It was excellent and made the step to me thinking that I could live with (some) modern cars.

Neighbour has one. Its incredibly bland and I struggle to tell it apart from any other modern car. They seem happy enough with it. The other neighbour has just got a Duster and its a much more interesting car to me.
