Six-cylinder Posted November 9, 2017 Posted November 9, 2017 I liked it pink (Pink-Red raspberry is its colour not just faded) that is what made me want it. But who am I to judge, I sold it without even doing a home visit to check it would be happy! And then there is the fact I am now driving a Saab convertible in November!
chaseracer Posted November 9, 2017 Posted November 9, 2017 Get shafted with a broken bottle marsden Errrm... no. Thanks all the same.

DodgyBastard Posted November 9, 2017 Posted November 9, 2017 This is definitely the wrong place to ask about painting your car Nato green, whatever you do, don't bin any original hubcaps... bezzabsa Posted November 9, 2017 Author Posted November 9, 2017 Well that was unexpected LOL Right - it isn't faded red.....so colour compound etc will just make it shiny..apart from the rust bubbles (of which there are many) I would keep it all standard just 'adjust' the colour (even the door shuts) check me out!!! Hmmm weren't Rally cars white n green??????? I now have a STEREO that plays in STEREO ... major step forward from single speaker tunage.. (hint always remove speakers to check speaker wiring colours ) oops It is many shades of said pinkness...and I dont think it will ever reach 'cult' status.. even as a Non Turbo diesel Skoda....... I love driving it....BUT - it needs a Grin factor built in...... I don't want to blend in with other Euro boxes... But I think Matt(e) ?? is the way forward.....either Black (wayy too many about)..NATO..(not quite so many)....White (????) or even as suggested By me the first night driving it home, paint the bottom of the car (and bumpers) Mellow yellow - so I'd have Rhubarb & custard car https://www.lavenderandlovage.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/rhubarb-and-custard-2-680x510.jpg Jim Bell 1
Yoss Posted November 9, 2017 Posted November 9, 2017 Yes, white and green, in many variations. This is a simple one. Some were a lot more complex but still mainly white with green trimmings. You could go mad with a roll of masking tape and some newspaper. Faker 1
Mrs6C Posted November 9, 2017 Posted November 9, 2017 I like the Red Raspberry colour! Six-cylinder 1
AlabamaShrimp Posted November 9, 2017 Posted November 9, 2017 You could save time, money and effort and just leave it and take pride in driving a lovely pink Skoda. Or weld the doors shut, paint the back windows and you got a very special* van! Edit: I didn't realise 'to NATO' had become a thing like say pogweasel pink.
Rave Posted November 9, 2017 Posted November 9, 2017 The BRG on my Eunos Roadster is so buggered that it has pretty much NATOed itself. If I ever get it back on the road I'll vinyl wrap it pink, I reckon.
