I drive past that Bond every other week myself and have been meaning to get a photo but even though the house it's outside is by traffic lights I never seem to actually be able to stop in the right place to snap it.

That Olds is wonderfully scruffy 8)

Lancia in the background has also caught my eye. I had a Tipo Turbodiseasal with a similar reg - K56 AAN. Fiat fleet issue I believe.

Bond is a shame. Sure I've seen it spotted before? Still has its Les Leston wheel...

I remember these from when there was a Hyundai dealership in

my village when I was a kid. I distinctly remember a special

edition pickup they had in red with 'white piping' and spotlights

- Thought this was really cool when I was 10

(I still do secretly 20 odd years later! )

The dealership was a proper old school garage and they always

had loads of scrap old cars - I remember seing a blue Consul Capri

- I had never seen anything like it! 8) lol

The wheels on that Pony are worth having though. I've got them on my 323 GT. They're 100+ ones and were Pardat options from Nissan. They're really, really light. I'd like to get mine re-cut and polished one day as I reckon they'd look pretty smart.

Toyota 1000 has not moved in the 3 years since my last pics on here

I;m not particularly into Ford but that Capri does look good.Toyota would certainly get Guinness tax if advertised? If its not moved in 3 years its certainly not hiding any serious grot.

Blimey another Pony?!? Where do you find all this stuff? That cav is gorgeous too, I havent seen one for such a long time. I dont think theres many left down here.

WHS/\ about the Ponies.Whats the crack with the Toyota? Looks like it's in a dealers or something, or is it just long-term parking? seems a shame that one of the few surviving ones is being left to inevitably disintergrate like that  Also, was the P6 totally hanging underneath? £500 doesn't seem like a bad price for one of those, I would happily throw another £300 or so at that to get it back on the road. I thought the days of getting a decent sub-1k old rover were gone.....

I had the Pony alloy wheels on my FWD Sunny, as Mash says they were Pardat but I think you could buy them as a normal aftermarket wheel too.Faded Cavalier looks great, especially parked up in front of those timber garage doors.Shame about the Toyota. But at least we know it's not scrappage, so it has a chance of future life.

Loving that 300 looking resplendently shite in the yard among all the modern stuff! :D

For those who dont remember or were not on here 3 years ago the story with the Toyota 1000 is...

In the early 90,s it was the showroom trophy display car along with a 1960's Corona model like this one

Posted Image

When after a year or so the showroom was changed the Corona was scrapped  and the 1000 was kept and moved around as a sentimental value car. This is due to the garage owner selling one the same as the 1st Toyota sale under the new franchise in 1975. The car isnt for sale (I asked but couldnt get an answer in 2007) and will remain in that spot for the forseeable future

Timewarp Anglia!Escort van ex-Potters of Framlingham, interesting to see. I worked in town there at that time, lots of the company cars came from them. They used to have attractive old premises in the middle of town, but moved out to a new place. Did you get a photo of the sticker at all?
