Why is all the food burnt?

I think it's just me trying to get the settings right on this potatovision phone. I'm going to find another camera app, as I'm sure it's capable, just not with the current one.

Collection thread, collection achieved.

Yep, got back about 9.30am this morning. I haven't even opened it out yet...

I just hate camping pretty much full stop. I was ok with using my tiny Honda camper at Shitefest, but mostly, I think I just like a proper bed, in a proper building. I've become a wuss!

These things tow really nicely though, instantly making them 165% better than a caravan. You can see over them, they weigh sod all and they're very easy to unhitch and manoeuvre. Main reason we sold ours was that we just weren't using it. Because we don't really like camping...

Are you a camping fan then?

I think the trick is to get blind-drunk first before trying to sleep. Usually works.

I've got to make some space for it or put it somewhere else temporarily. But first I must get some sleep.

Love camping myself, very relaxing (after 6 pints  )

I prefer the caravan now i am older but the wee one likes the tent so we always go away in that at least one weekend a year.

I've got a trailer tent sitting at the end of the street here...... only used once last year but it was fantastic. Off the ground so a lot better than the usual tenting but I4ll be re-fitting the electrics with modern chargers and LEDs etc.... over the winter for next year. Little one loves it and we regularly go kayaking etc... so it's a godsend.

Yours looks in top nick! Well done!

Whilst in Halfords getting a lighting board the other day, I thought I'd check the price of something without a ticket on the shelf. An Al-ko lock - a tiny brass crappy thing like this...

This was because Honda Snr managed to throw my old one out accidently and despite lots of bin-raking it was not found.

Halfords wanted £15! (fuck that, when it could be had in the £5 ballpark elsewhere), so went looking for something to lock things up today. The other thing they had

they wanted £30 (around £13 elsewhere). I know it's expensive, but this is taking the piss expensive on a whole new level.

First stop, local motor factors, knew about but apparently couldn't get any more the wee brass things. Had an alternative, but bits missing in box. Give up, go to Ted's down Naas.

They had a Maypole MP279 ball lock for an eye-watering €38 - you what? Something that is about an Ayrton elsewhere.

Undeterred, I went into another motor factors and found those shitey brass locks - two left for €6 a piece. Thank fuck for that.

Mine came with the 'shitey brass locks' as mentioned....... do the job - bit of a fiddle though. I hate the damn things.............

This thread had me looking mine quickly, realised the handbrake is doing the square root of fugg all - need to look into that. Will drag it to a suitable spot for opening out this weekend and give it a check over etc... Hopefully start planning the electrical refit/update.

What's the interior looking like? Plans for it?

I needed two as I also have a Duuo Plus.

Interior needs some TLC. Cushions were removed for storage, except mice decided to chomp them instead. Have them anyway, as well as the backrest support. An awning I haven't checked out yet and a random selection of poles.

Got a little bit of repair work to do around the bottom/lid.

Also need to work out exactly how the annex frame hoop works, it has some telescoping pole hoops. Had it roughly up for a quick butchers.

Plan is to sort it out for next season - a trip to France in May is mooted. Looks not too bad a thing to restore...

I quite like the idea of a Combi-Camp 100 to go with it - ideal for sticking on roof-racks of V300s...
