i have a spare camping/entrance wristband for this weekends retro rides show ( camping fri-sunday + show on sunday)

 

no bugger wants to buy it in time so its up for grabs

I could make use of the Sunday show entry as I was going to pay on the gate. I couldn't use the camping ticket though as I am working Saturday so someone that could use it would probably be more deserving.

could possibly - i am leaving tomorrow early but could stop at a post office - not sure it would get to you in time.
i could leave it at the security gazebo by the campsite entrance for you. its a minutes walk from the non retro parking area or a slightly more annoying detour if you are driving something interesting!

I was aiming to arrive Sunday morning about 09:30 and will be in a 1997 Subaru Impreza so will probably end up in the boring cars parking area. If you could leave it at the Security Gazebo that would be great.

I'll be there on Sunday too, probably in the Astra.  I'm hoping they'll view it as interesting enough for the retro parking area.  I haven't been to Shelsley for a few years so am looking forward to it.  Will keep an eye out for shiters!

What a superb day out, I'm glad I made the effort to go. One of my favourites was the Opel Rekord, owned by Gary Cox's mate (the same guy who bought the Senator off me). It's got three rows of seats and says 'Car a Van' on the dash. Brilliant.

I only stayed till about two ish. I had a late night sat and was shattered. I saw the 2cv go up the hill a few times, looked loads of fun.

 

 

 

Got my old man to drive it home, I can stretch my feet out fully in the scimitar in the passenger seat, nodded of and woke up in derby. Perfect!
