Who was after an engine to mess about with?

Sure I read that someone wanted an engine to mess about with and learn on.

 

Last weekend I picked up a load of FIAT 500 parts and one of the boxes contains an original engine in quite a few pieces, looks like most of it is there I think but engines don't come much simpler for someone wanting to have a play.

 

Quite willing to let it go, will need collecting, for a small donation to either the server fund or Weston Park Cancer Hospital in Sheffield.

surely we all want this turned into a stationary engine. Preferably powering a band saw or something like that ready for the next show season!

Build a generator that takes 4 hours and two gallons of petrol to charge a pair of AA batteries.

I shall combine the two and have a stationary engine which powers a pump that directs rubber ducks down a flume into a bandsaw and traumatise children at local shows.
