I have seen the advisories and although I don't know what a rear beam is and how it becomes tired, I am keen to participate.

However, our wonderful railway system essentially permits me to travel to Lincoln (in over four hours with four changes - 2hr 20m of being a train wanker) or Skegness (nearly five hours and one change).

 

Neither the tired rear beam, advisories, nor preposterous inability to travel east on the railway put me off, but I do not want to impose upon the kind rofflee; if they are happy collekshioning someone from Lincoln or Skeggy (the latter is closer) I would be happy to be assigned two of your finest randoms.

You'd be better going to boston rather than skeg (same line) but much quicker to get to.

 

Yes collection from the station is possible.

 

The tired rear beam relates to the bearings in the beam tightening up, the ride is stiff because of this but it does not affect safety.

 

Edited to add that I'm sure the Sporty-shite/willcleland/m'coli zx estate suffers a similar issue, it certainly did when I had it a few years back.
